Welcome to the world of Bass Electric

Bass Electric tournaments have been held for more than 20 years and continually evolving with technology to now become a stand alone competition.

With a real focus on social fishing with a touch of seriousness the Bass Electric Tour is a fun way to venture into tournament style fishing while participating with your mates, partner, kids or even pairing up with someone new.


Our events are run by volunteer anglers who have a passion for the sport and sharing their knowledge to ensure that everyone leaves a tournament having learned something new.


The Bass Electric Tour is a series of six tournaments held throughout the year with round winners and placings at each event. You dont need to be a pro angler, entries are open for those just wanting to get out on the water and fish or wanting to experience a tournament. Prizes awarded at each event including a lucky door prize at the final round. The series culminating in an Angler of the Year (AOY) crowned from an anglers 5 best results.


How to get involved

Anyone can enter a Bass Electric event, there are 2 main requirements in that combustion engines cannot be used and that you have provision to keep Bass alive and healthy. This means you can use an electric motor, an electric outboard, use a kayak or attend an event as a non boater and we will partner you with someone. There are no membership requirements, simply turn up on the day, fish one event or fish them all.

We hope you will join us on the tour, have some fun and meet some great people who are always willing to share.

Experience a Bass Electric event

Bass Electric tournaments commence with a pre fish the day before competition starts then there is an anglers briefing in the afternoon including a complimentary bbq. Fishing kicks off at 6am and concludes at 2pm where all boats need to be back for a live weigh in at the waters edge. Round winner and placings will then be announced, each point go towards an entrants Angler of the Year standings. We encourage all anglers to then kick back and relax and spend the night as a group.

On Sunday mornings there is an optional dash for cash session where the winner takes all.
